Persons who need a sworn translator in Hungarian can receive the necessary support from our team of Romanian translators. A sworn translator defines a person who is legally allowed to provide translation services for documents that can be used in connection to various legal matters/actions.
One must know that a translation is different than a sworn translation, in the sense that the latter can be used as an equivalent of the original document (it has the same legal value and it is considered a legal document, with the only difference being the language in which it is issued).
Thus, if you need to translate a document from Hungarian into Romanian, our team of Romanian translators remain at your service.

What is a sworn translation in Romania?
A sworn translation in Romania or a sworn translation issued in any other European country refers to a document that contains the actual translation of another document, concluded by a professional who is attested in translating into a given language.
Moreover, the translator is accredited by the qualified institution for providing sworn translations (here, a translator in Romania must obtain the accreditation from the Romanian Ministry of Justice).
Any sworn translation must contain specific elements that are regulated by the law and it must have the following:
- the actual translation of the document provided by the client, which must maintain the legal meaning of any provision presented in the respective document, certificate, diploma, etc.;
- the stamp of the translator in Romania (required for all documents translated in this country);
- the signature of the translator.
These 3 elements are necessary if you want to translate a document from Hungarian into Romanian or from any other language.
In general, translations can be concluded for a wide category of documents, which can be divided into 4 main categories, as follows:
- technical documents (instruction documents, handbooks, etc.);
- economic/financial documents (tax reports, bank statements, tax declarations, etc.);
- legal documents (decisions, resolutions issued by courts, sentences, etc.);
- commercial documents (agreements, incorporation documents, etc.).
What are the costs of interpreting services in Romania?
Interpreting services are generally more costly compared to translation services. In general, translation services are charged by page, and a page, depending on the language and the type of document, can cost around RON 20.
However, you can expect to pay more than RON 30 if you need a translation in a less common language, such as an Asian language.
Interpreting services are charged by hour or by day, therefore if you need a Hungarian interpreter, we will need to know first what type of participation you require, so that we can establish a price with our Hungarian interpreter.
Our translator in Romania can offer the following fee system for interpreting services:
- an interpreter can be booked per 1 hour of work or per 1 day of work, depending on the estimated duration of the meeting;
- interpreting services can cost around RON 150 – RON 300 per hour, depending on the language, availability of the interpreter, etc.;
- for those who want to book the interpreter for the entire day, costs can be of minimum EUR 130 (RON 640);
- booking an interpreter for a day of work is required when the duration of a meeting/conference/interview etc. takes around 6 to 8 hours;
- costs can increase by 50% to 100% if the interpreter is called for meetings held outside the regular working week (Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM or 9 AM to 6 PM).
We invite you to call us and find out more about our fee system. You are also invited to contact our team if you need the services of our sworn translator in Hungarian, but our Romanian translators are available for more information on all the languages in which we can provide our services.
