Sworn Translations in Italian

Sworn translations in Italian are available in Romania. Such documents will be prepared by persons who have an in-depth knowledge of the Romanian and Italian languages and who, as well, must have a certification issued by the Ministry of Justice of Romania.

A sworn translation can only be prepared by a translator in Romania who is authorized. Please mind that using the services of a translator who simply is specialized in a foreign language (Italian, in this case), is not enough, because the document will not be recognized without the stamp of the translator.

How can clients send documents to our translator in Romania?

If you need the services of a sworn translator in Italian, please mind that you do not have to present the original documentation, unless there is a legal requirement in this sense, expressed by the authorities where you must submit the respective translation or as required by our translator, who must follow the applicable legislation in the field.

Therefore, if you need to translate a document from Italian into Romanian, please bear in mind that you can simply send a scanned copy of the document, the only requirement being that the document is clearly scanned and our Romanian translators can see the text.

Is it possible to obtain more copies of the translation?

Persons who need sworn translations in Italian are allowed to request for more copy of the document that they will send to our team. Here, there are 2 main scenarios that can appear, as follows:

  • you request from the very beginning more than 1 copy of the document and our Romanian translators will prepare the required number of sworn translations of the same document;
  • you contact our team and you request 1 sworn translation, but then you discover you will need an additional (or more) translations for other third parties, in which case we can simply issue other copies.

What are the elements included in a sworn translation?

A sworn translation must contain few mandatory elements. This is regardless if you need to translate a document from Italian into Romanian or into any other language. The main elements are the following:

  1. the accurate translation of the original text of the document (the translation must maintain the legal meaning of any document);
  2. the stamp of the Romanian translator;
  3. the signature of the translator;
  4. a certificate that testifies that the translation is an accurate one.
